The premier queen room comes with shampoo, a four poster bed, and tea. the hotel has a nice bar and very friendly staff. - the efficient service provided by the hotel is commendable. - the location is great, quite close to the National Trust.

Wanslea Guest House is exceptionally comfortable and tidy, with magnificent views overlooking hills to the west. the employees are helpful and extremely friendly. the location is lovely, close to Ambleside town centre, lakeside, Ambleside pier, and of course, the pubs. They have a variety of meals to choose from, and the food is great.

The location is great as it's near Ambleside town centre and the pier on lake Windermere, pubs, restaurants and shops and the center. The staff is accommodating, and the owner too. We would like to go back there again, enjoyed it.

Booked a room with gorgeous views overlooking hills to the west. the location was excellent, near Ambleside town centre, Steamer Pier at Waterhead, shops, and restaurants.

The room was a good size and had everything we needed. the beds were really comfortable. the location was spot on for us - just a quick stroll to the lake and town center with plenty of places to eat and shop around.
